NEW ROOF AND RUNNING WATER FOR SUNDARA DEVI

Here we go again! Yes we need to thank our great friends and supporters CWT (Communities Working Together Worldwide) from the charity group based in Nottingham. They have continued to fund developments at Sundara Devi School, one of the schools we continue to support.

The school now has running water which is a much bigger challenge than it seems. This means the toilets and hygiene routine will finally be possible. One visit to this school in 2015 would make a lot of people think, where do we begin? However, it is now a model school with enthusiastic teachers and an increasing number of children as the community starts to believe in education and the investment they are seeing. Yes, people are investing in them. 

There are also roofs that are upgrades from the original design which means they are warmer in winter and more water proof in monsoon and yes cooler in summer. What’s not to like.

Thanks again to Mahendra and Milan from TMO (The Mandala Organisation). What would we do without them? They are our arms, legs and communication. We can’t thank them enough for their hard work and tolerance of our constant demands. Good job they like us  and want the same things :)
